WEB DESIGN IN ABU DHABI

Web design for Abu Dhabi businesses.

A website here is usually the second thing a customer sees. They have already found you in Maps, glanced at your rating and your photos, and arrived to work out whether you are worth contacting. The site has to answer that quickly on a phone and make the next step obvious. Most sites here lose the visit in the first thirty seconds.

MAFT designs and builds for businesses across Abu Dhabi remotely. We do not keep an office in the emirate, and we do not claim one.

THE LOCAL PICTURE

What an Abu Dhabi website has to get right.

These are the things that decide whether a visit turns into an inquiry here. Most redesign briefs start somewhere else.

It is a phone, on mobile data, in a car park

The realistic first visit is one-handed, on a phone, often with patchy signal and often while the person is already near you. Heavy hero video and slow-loading galleries fail that moment. Layout, weight and tap targets get designed for it first, and the desktop version follows from it.

WhatsApp comes before the contact form

In this market people message on WhatsApp long before they will fill in a form. Sites that offer only a form lose the ones who would have messaged. Both belong, with WhatsApp reachable in one tap and counted as a conversion, not as an outbound link.

Directions and parking are conversion content

Abu Dhabi is a driving city, and a surprising share of lost visits are people who could not work out where to park or which entrance to use. Detail that would be an afterthought elsewhere earns bookings here.

Structure that can carry Arabic

We build page structure that can carry Arabic without a rebuild: layout that tolerates right-to-left, content separated from presentation, no text baked into images. That applies to the sites we build for clients. maftstudio.com itself is English only today.

Areas we work across

Location matters to a site mostly through the local content it carries, not through where it is built.

  • Abu Dhabi Island and Downtown
  • Al Reem Island
  • Yas Island and Saadiyat
  • Khalifa City and Masdar
  • Mussafah and the industrial areas
  • Al Ain
  • Al Dhafra

HOW WE WORK ON THIS

How the build runs.

Structure, implementation, tracking and search foundations are planned together, before the build starts.

  1. 01

Decide what the site is for

One main action per page: book, call, message, get directions or enquire. Pages that try to do all five tend to do none of them well, and everything after this step depends on getting it right.

  2. 02

    Build the phone layout first

Mobile is designed and built as the real layout, not a narrowed version of a desktop design. Performance is part of the design decision. If a hero image has to be optimised before the page is usable, it was the wrong image.

  3. 03

    Make the local detail specific

Service areas, directions, parking, opening hours and the questions people phone to ask. This is what separates a site serving Abu Dhabi from a template with a city name dropped into it.

  4. 04

    Instrument it before launch

Calls, form submissions, WhatsApp clicks and direction requests are tracked from day one, so the first month of data answers which pages produce inquiries instead of only how many people visited.
